Grand Californian Hotel at Christmas

Grand Californian Hotel at Christmas

We recently spent the night with friends at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at the Disneyland Resort. We stayed in a one bedroom suit with our friends this time.

The room was beautiful and spacious. There are little mouse touches all around. From the end of the counter to the stove top Mickey is around to make you smile.

In the Main Lobby there is a 6 story tall Christmas tree decorated with classic looking lanterns and Poinsettias along with other flowers. There are fantastic garlands run around the edges of the walkways above your head. During the evening a group of carolers sings in the lobby.

If you ever get to the Disneyland Resort you suggest you take a walk around the Grand Californian. It does not matter if it is Christmas or not. The property is beautiful and worth a couple of hours out of your stay. There are several nice restaurants there and even a quick service area called the White Water Café.

The main entrance to the Grand Californian is on Disney Way, the street that runs through the middle of the property. You can also enter from Downtown Disney and from the Disney California Adventure Park. You can also enter DCA from the Grand Californian. If you are a guest at the hotel you can enter DCA through the Grand entrance at any time. If you are not a guest you can use it most days after 11 am.
