Surprise!! Your Going to Disney World!!

Surprise!! Your Going to Disney World!!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of being part of a un-birthday surprise for a friend. A friend of mine was surprised by other friends with an all-expense paid trip to Walt Disney World! This is something she only dreamed about doing but could never afford. It could not of happened to a more deserving person.

The friends took her on a scavenger hunt around Disneyland giving her charms for a charm bracelet and other small things. They gave her a plane, bus, guitar, movie reels, award statue, movie camera, animals, dinosaurs, pirate coin, castle, carrousel along with other items that could make you think of the parks at WDW.

After a day full of fun, rides and wondering what was happening her clues lead her to the Plaza Inn for diner. That is where we were waiting! We had fun watching her look at her clues and try to figure out what they meant. It was the grouping of the Guitar, movie reels and award statue along with a second grouping of the plane and bus that finally got her to think of Disney Hollywood Studios at WDW.

She saw the Guitar and movie reels with the statue and thought of Rocking Roller Coaster at DHS! Just as her friends had planned! Still she did not understand until we pointed out the plane and bus. She just kept saying NO!! You can’t mean I’m going to WDW!

But the surprise did not end there! She was given a “Golden Ticket” that explained when she was going and where she needed to be to go. A gift bag with much needed tissue (A Disney Princess box) was handed to her for the tears that were now running down her cheeks. Inside the bag was a blank journal so she could record her trip, a button that said, “I’m celebrating. I was just surprised at Disneyland with a trip to WDW.” Also inside the bag was a sample of a one of four mini scrapbooks that she will be able to put her pictures in.

After the surprise we went and road the Haunted Mansion Holiday and saw Fantasmic from priority seating! What an awesome time it was! I’m not going on this trip but it felt good to be part of the surprise. It is always fun to be part of Disney Magic.
