Disneyland Handmade Candy Canes
One of the special things at Disneyland during the holidays is the handmade Candy Canes. Disneyland is one of the few places you can get a Handmade Candy Cane. Now a days Candy Canes are made by machine.
On scheduled days during the months of November and December you can stand outside the Candy Kitchen on Main Street and watch them make the sweet treat. If you get there early enough in the day you can get a voucher allowing you to come back later in the day when they are done and pick one up. If you are don't get one of the wrist bands you can purchase a machine made Candy Cane of the same size at a lesser price.
Many people purchase these sweets not to eat but to collect. Some people don't purchase but just enjoy watching the process of making them. The art of the handmade Candy Cane is a dying art form. Disney's Candy Kitchen is keeping the art of handmade candy making alive for us to enjoy watching.
Candy Cane dates are currently scheduled for:
November 30th
December 2nd
December 6th
December 9th
December 12th
December 16th
December 21st
December 24th
The cost this year will be $12.95 each and you will need to obtain a voucher at park opening.
