 Disney Wish Delivered to Disney!!!

Today, June 9th, 2022 Meyer Werft delivered the Disney Wish to the Disney Cruise Line!! Disney Wish is officially the 5th ship of the Disney Fleet!

What happens next???

Disney Wish will arrive in Port Canaveral, Florida June 20th between 4am and 7am ET. There will be a Fireboat Water Cannon Salute and unspecified special effects.

Between June 20th and June 28th, the Wish will take on crew and supplies.

On June 29th the Disney Wish will have her Christening Ceremony. Disney Cruise Line has yet to announce if they will be live streaming the event. During this event the ship with be blessed by her Godmother! Every ship has a Godmother and I’m interested in seeing who the Wish will get!! I will post when I find out if DCL is going to livestream the Christening Ceremony.

Between June 30th and July 14th Disney Wish will be doing Media Cruises.

On July 14th the Disney Wish will take her Maiden Voyage!! For all of you sailing on the Maiden Voyage or in the Inaugural Season, CONGRATULATIONS!!! I wish I could join you! (Got room in a suitcase?? I’m Pixie Size!!)

Would you like to see the Wish in port on any of those days but don’t live in Florida?? Want to see her pull into port? Just log into the Port Canaveral Web Cam!! The Camera is located on the top of Fishlips Bar and Grill and has wonderful views of the Disney Terminal. You can see the ship and hear all the excitement and even the Mickey Horns!!! If you live in Florida maybe, you can snag a reservation for Fishlips and see it live! I’ll be watching from the West Coast on the webcam and if Disney is Livestreaming, I’ll be watching that as well.
