Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas is a collection of three stories. There is Donald Duck: Stuck On Christmas, A Very Goofy Christmas and Mickey & Minnie’s Gift of the Magi.

These 3 wonderful short cartoons give us wonderful lessons of love, trust/faith and sacrifice.

In Stuck On Christmas Donald’s nephews learn that having Christmas every day is not fun! In the process they learn that it is not the gifts, lights and trimmings that are important. They learn that it is the love of family and showing you care.

A Very Goofy Christmas follows Goofy and Max as they get ready for Christmas Day. Goofy in his usual caring, giving self and tries to show Max the true reason for Christmas. Goofy and Max help each other remember to have faith.

Mickey & Minnie’s Gift of the Magi is a wonderfully sweet retelling of the Gift of the Magi tale. Both wish to give gifts to each other but do not have the money. They both sell what is most treasured by them to get something for the other. In the process they get find the greatest gift is the love they have for each other. It shows that no sacrifice is too great when you are doing it for the one you love.

I highly recommend this collection of shorts as a gift for the children in your life or as an addition to your collection of Christmas home entertainment.
