You can get various photo packages while on the Disney Cruise. You can get a limited amount of print photos and a photo keepsake book, or you can get a limited number of Digital Downloaded pictures. The print and limited number of Digital Download packages range from around $135 - $200 depending on your choice. The best deal is the Unlimited Digital Photo Download Package. The amount will be put on your Shipboard Folio and you will pay at the end of the cruise.

The Unlimited Digital Photo Download price is based on the length of the cruise. The costs about $230 for a 3-5 Night cruise and goes up to around $400 for longer cruises. You can save money by pre-ordering the package. You can do it when you do your online check-in or when your booking window opens for booking opens for booking port and shipboard adventures. You must preorder by 3 days before your cruise or you would not be able to book it with the savings. For a 3-5 Night cruise the current price is $194.55 and can go up to $345.99.

 

The photo package is only good for those in the cabin it is purchased for. If you have 2 cabins with minor children and parents in another they can be linked to the same cabin and all guests in both cabins will get all the pictures taken of them. If you have a 2-3 cabins of adults traveling you cannot link the package. Only pictures including at least ONE member of the party with the package will be available.

 

Now there is a way to save money on the extra packages!! If one cabin Pre Orders the Unlimited Photo Package the other cabins can request to be linked and pay ½ price on the full price. So the first cabin on a 3-5 night cruise pays $194.95, about a 30% discount off the full onboard price. The other cabins can purchase the photo package at $115 or ½ the full price of the package if you purchased it onboard.

 

Is the photo package with it? When we sail we will get between 300-400 pictures on a 3-4 night cruise! The photo package includes professional pictures taken in the terminal, on the ship, both inside and on the decks, Magic Shots, and pictures on the private ports of call belonging to Disney Cruise Line.

 

How and when do you get your pictures?? You can download the pictures to your mobile device while onboard. You can also wait until you get home. You have 48 hours after your cruise to download your pictures. You can also ask for a USB of your pictures. It costs an extra $10 for the USB but it is worth it. You need to download the pictures one at a time and that can be tedious, frustrating, and  experience has shown it is difficult to make sure you get all the pictures.
