Dress Code for Dinner on A Disney Cruise
Lots of people ask what the dress code is for dining. It is simple, Cruise Casual is accepted in all Main Restaurants aboard Disney Ships. Adult Dining locations on the ship have a slightly different dress code.
For
Main Dining Restaurants, Cruise Casual means Shorts, Jeans (in good repair),
Dresses, Slacks, T-shirts, and Blouses are all acceptable. Cut offs,
swimsuits/swim apparel/cover-ups are not acceptable.
One
unique thing about the ships is people do not care what others wear. They don’t
mind is someone is dressed up to the nines while they have jeans and a T on.
Some will theme the outfits to the restaurant or the days show. Bounding as
characters is also enjoyed. Others will stick to cruise casual attire. People
enjoy seeing all the different things going on. From Disney bounding, themed
attire, suits to shorts it is all there. Pirate Night on the ship is fun with
many people dressing as pirates to fit the evenings theme. Other than the Quick
Serve around the pool all dining locations restrict swim apparel. This includes
Cabanas, the buffet on the pool deck.
Palo has its
own Dress Code. It is an upscale Adult Dining only location. In the past the
Dress Code was strict with men required to have a shirt, tie and jacket and
women dressed appropriately in a dress or pantsuit. Now I’d call it upper end
Cruise Casual. Collared Shirt for men with good Jeans is acceptable. A nice
blouse with Jeans is acceptable for women. My personal preference is dressing to
the nines for this amazing experience to fit the environment of the location.
This goes for all adult dining on the ships.
