New Disney Cruise Luggage Tags Announced
Yesterday Disney Cruise Line announced a change in luggage
tags for boarding. The following picture is of all the different types of tags.
There will be 4 different styles of tags. First is the
normal tag sent out to the Standard Guest. Second is for Concierge Guests. The
only difference is the Concierge Guests have a crossed key logo at the top end.
The third style of for GTY, Guarantied cabins when you did not have the cabin number. The forth
style if for those that either did not get tags, need more tags or forgot their
tags. For both third and fourth there are those for Concierge and Regular
Guests. On first and second your cabin
number, name, ship name, and sailing date will be on the tags. On three and
four you will need to handwrite your information.
Each ship of the fleet will have its own color tags:
Disney Magic – Green
Disney Wonder – Orange
Disney Dream – Blue
Disney Fantasy – Purple
Disney Wish – Maroon
Disney Treasure – Yellow
In addition to the above changes, Guests may notice the
follow when they receive their new luggage tags.
Updated luggage tags will no longer feature a barcode.
Stateroom numbers will be printed in a larger font.
Time timeline for Guests to receive their luggage tags will
remain the same.
Luggage Tag Mailer will remain the same. Ony the Luggage Tags
themselves are being updated.
The process to obtain Luggage Tags at the port will remain
the same. Just ask a Porter.
Porters will have both Concierge and Non-Concierge generic
luggage tags available for Guests who arrive without their luggage tags.
At this time Guests may receive either the old or new style
of Luggage Tags. People on the same sailing may get different styles of tags.
This is because of the timing of the updated release.
